The global reach of this project is quite exciting, and is for is one of the most appealing aspects of it. My part in this is as part of Peterborough group, "Blok Collective". So in a way it is making a local collective of artists enlarge the scope of their group-in an oddly anonymous way.
I am a late arrival into the world of drawing and illustration, starting out in photography and then Photoshop and slowly meandering into these mediums in the last few years. So to take my pen work, or sketchbook work and galvanise it into a piece of work to send travelling across the world is a nice and natural continuation of that creative meandering.
I have only had the Sketchbook about two weeks, preliminary doodles and idea-gestation has taken place and initial pen-line-ramblings, or is that meanderings, have been transmitted to paper.
